Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Colocasia Royal Hilo is a new form of Colocasia from Hawaii. This plant has dark green leaves and dark maroon and white streaked stems. The stems can become almost totally white with maroon streaks or reversed with maroon and white streaks. The leaves look very similar to Fontenesii. We believe this hybrid is a cross between a pink stem Colocasia and Fontenesii. It will grow 6- 7 feet tall. Each plant we have seen is uniquely different and will be a great addition to any garden. Foliage: shiny dark green leaves Flowers: Hooded Height: 3 to 6 feet
