Alocasia ‘Sarian’ is a ginormous tropical Elephant Ear displaying deep green, arrowhead-shaped leaves with thick white veins. This amazing aroid grows in an upright, vase-shaped clump habit. The leaves are carried on large, greenish brown-speckled stems. It grows up to 12 feet tall in an warm, outdoor climate with leaves reaching up to 5 feet in length. Amazing! If grown in a household or cooler climate, the plant will not reach those dimensions. Elephant Ear Plants are great for adding color and texture in landscapes and containers. Works as a houseplant as well! Keep evenly moist and fertilize monthly during the growing season. Prefers bright, indirect light to partial sun. Avoid the scorching rays of afternoon sun, as the leaves may burn. Protect from frost!
Alocasia sarian is a remarkable aroid with large arrowhead shaped leaves, white veins and a slight velvet feel to the leaves. The stems are striped. Alocasia Sarian can grow fast in warm humid areas and does not like temps below 55 °F. It should be allowed to dry out between watering.
