A newer selection (1991) and among the largest flowers in the auricula group. The color is hard to nail as there are many and they are changing depending on season and conditions. There is maroon at the base of the petals, fading out to orange in different shades and hues. Grows in most well drained garden soils. Full sun is fine in higher elevation and/or cooler regions, otherwise needs a place without afternoon heat.
