Nursery contributed plant descriptions
Probably the most asked for species peony in our display gardens here at the nursery, brilliant single red flowers with attractive yellow stamens. ZONE 4
Unusually bright color for a peony species, round cup-shaped, scarlet flowers above lush green foliage. As with most peonies, easy to grow and long lasting, becoming formidable clumps. Not picky with soil but avoid wet.
