A much underused East coast native. The leaves are silvery mottled, intensifying as the year progresses, being set-off even more in fall when the leaves turn reddish-bronze. In milder zone (7 and up) stays evergreen, otherwise goes dormant. Very easy to grow and strictly clumping.
