More properly Ophiopogon umbraticola, this has very narrow leaves that each curls as it grows to produce a charming, tosseled looking little grass-like hummock. Insignificant lavender flowers produce extremely beautiful large, bright blue berries.
Has extremely narrow, leathery, dark green leaves. It grows in very tight clumps without runners. In fall, the bright blue, blueberry-sized berries look almost unreal. For well drained soil. Evergreen.
