    Ophiopogon umbraticola is an evergreen perennial groundcover grass (or grassy in appearance) with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by blue fruit. Features grassy texture.     More properly Ophiopogon umbraticola, this has very narrow leaves that each curls as it grows to produce a charming, tosseled looking little grass-like hummock. Insignificant lavender flowers produce extremely beautiful large, bright blue berries.
