Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A dwarf version of the Eurasian false lily of the valley, white flowers followed by red fruits it is a neat little creeper for the woodland garden. ZONE 5
A rhizomatous perennial from Korea and China that looks a lot like a Lily of the Valley foliage with wavy-edged ovate-heart shaped glossy leaves (generally 2 but can be more) and spikes of white scented flowers similar to Tiarellas in late spring early summer followed by red berries. In part to full shade forms beautiful carpets of foliage. Absurdly rare! Poisonous but you have to eat a lot and then the symptom is nausea.

It's the smaller the plants, the longer the name. This rarely offered gem originates from the Japanese island of Yakushima. Grows into small mats of heart-shaped leaves and blooms in little spikes of starry, white flowers. Perfect companion for bonsai and smalll container gardens - I mean small!
