Iris setosa var. arctica is a broadleaf deciduous or semi-evergreen perennial aquatic with green foliage. In spring blue flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and high water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
About a third as tall as the regular I.setosa. Out of tight clumps emerges a bouquet of mid purple-blue flowers, each 3" across. Blooms here reliably on Mothers Day.
