Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Picked this one up at our regular gentian source in Switzerland in November of 2007. This was by far the darkest blue gentian, at that time and place. Back here in Oregon, in spring, they bloom in a ordinary dark gentian-blue (although there is nothing ordinary about gentian-blue). In fall the rebloom is noticeable darker than the orders, however. The leaves differ from other trumpet gentian types by being exceptionally leathery-shiny and quite large. As most others, good rebloomer and grower. 2 3/8" square - 3 3/4" deep pots - blooming size.
