Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Epimedium x Youngianum ~ First flush of heart shaped leaves emerge with a striking silver overlay aging to green later in the seaon. Medium size white flowers with long spurs. 2nd flush: 12” tall. Plant in 3/4 sun to nearly full shade. Zones 4-9. Semi-Evergreen.
It's name can stand for the numerous, pristine white flowers (although not quite as many as stars in the Milky Way) or for the silver overlay along the main veins on mature leaves. The flowers are long spurred - unusual for E. x youngianum - and look more like E. grandiflorum. Clumping and semi-evergreen.
