One of the many recently discovered species (1998), with long rhizomes and evergreen foliage, which is heavily mottled when new. The soft yellow 1" flowers are long-spurred and spidery, with short pink sepals on top. Doesn't really have a main flush in spring but blooms throughout the summer into fall. Drought tolerant once established and as mentioned, spreading.
