Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Has lovely white flowers with bronze new growth. This species was introduced in 1993 from China.
Oval shaped, glaucous leaves have red mottling in spring. Large white flowers with pale pink inner sepals. Plant in nearly full shade to nearly full sun. Height: 6” Zones 5-9. Semi-stoloniferous. Evergreen.
Ready in June - My favorite white; large flowers opening to pure white with distinctly broad sepals. The evergreen leaves are mottled with maroon in spring, making an excellent backdrop for the flowers. Slow spreading. Just a few.
