Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Delicate, fine textured, lime green, evergreen grass that shines in dry shade…makes an excellent small scale ground cover, slow spreader, 6-12” tall. Tall, graceful, feathery wands of flower culms in spring add another dimension to this useful plant. Doesn’t like soggy winter sites.
A cool season tuft-forming selection to 20 inches tall with bright yellow-green foliage that arches gently at the tips. Bronze-colored flowers are held on slender stalks above the foliage in summer. Plant in partly shaded areas with moist soils for best results. An ideal choice for woodland gardens or shady borders. Hardy to 0°F.
[Syn. 'Aurea'] Finely textured leaves in tufts, bright chartreuse in spring/early summer, rich green later. Flowers are decorative, too. Best with summer moisture.
