    Arum creticum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial aroid bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring chartreuse and yellow flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer, dry when dormant. Does well in average, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    Arum creticum is a rare species that forms large, showy, yellow spathes 8-10 inches long with a fragrance of freesia and lemon. The bulbs are vigorous and form clumps at a good rate. May be hardy to zone 6 if kept dry in dormancy, which begins in summer. Pot culture is easy. Begin watering only when leaves appear in fall and keep moist while in growth.
