A New Millenium hybrid from New Zealand, bred for heat resistance. Doubled white flowers are arrayed up the tall stems. They have a the sturdiness and color of gardenia blossoms accented with a twist of lime at the center of each blossom. Strong stems, but individual stem staking is always recommended for the double flowered varieties. Lime amended rich, well-drained soil. Place mulch in summer to cool the soil, in a ring well away from the crown of the plant. A long-lived selection, outstanding where summers are moderate. Early to midsummer bloom.
