The species Zinnia elegans was introduced into England in 1796. It was a small lilac colored flower; the first double forms did not appear until 1858, and none were as outstanding as this German bred modern variety. It has stunning large doubled flowers, 4-5", in clear shades of pink, yellow, white, red, orange and purple. Designated as 1999 Cut Flower of the Year, it is a vigorous, mildew resistant variety that you are sure to love.
