Fat, pastel pink blooms with white throats grace the 24-30” tall stems June thru fall. This Beard Tongue has a dense, clumping habit and an upright, rounded form in the garden. Full sun, decent soils, average water. A reliable performer. Like most Penstemon, cut back to the ground before new growth starts in spring.

One of the most popular cultivars we grow, this one reaches 2-3' and bears numerous, free-flowering stems covered by narrow foliage. The small, pale-pink blossoms have white throats that are finely streaked with dark pink veins. Plants bloom from late spring through fall and are best with moderate watering. Hardy to 15 °F.
