Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Unique among witch hazels, this plant (to 4-6') has branches which weep to the ground and are clothed with handsome exceptionally blue-green foliage and small reddish flowers Jan-March. S-PSh/M
It is so unusual it's almost never offered in catalogs. This plant is so strongly weeping it doesn't form a shrub but more like a mound. Grow on a mound or over a rock wall so it can spill over. The flowers are sweetly scented in winter.
More sticking out sideways than weeping, this plant with its orangish flowers would be good grafted on a standard.
