Each stem is banded with chocolate bracts that lighten to a warm golden color before being shed. A strong and durable perennial for full sun or light shade with regular to moderate water. It has also proved to be a quite tolerant a boggy or clay soils. Stunning when used in containers. Hardy to 20 °F. 'El Campo' is a Native Sons selection of this popular South African restio.
