Salome' is noted for its chartreuse foliage and pale purple flowers with dark violet veining. Although it scrambles, it is more manageable than the similar 'Ann Folkard'. Its low, rambling habit makes it a great ?knitter" for the border, scrambling through and over its neighbours and blooms from May until frost. 'Salome' looks good when combined with grasses and strikingly coloured perennials. As with all geraniums, if overgrown chop plants to the ground and they will quickly reflush with new foliage.

(G.lambertii x G.procurrens) The legendary cross occurring at the former Washfield Nursery. Sprawling, reddish stems to 3' are adorned with faintly marbled leaves, gold-tinged when young. Dusky lavender flowers with dark veins and eye-zone.

The velvety golden foliage trails handsomely and provides a breathtaking backdrop for the shy but lovely lavender blooms. Plant in filtered shade for best foliage color and provide regular water. Mature plants spread 16-24".
