Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Although a member of the strawberry genus, this ground cover/edger is really grown for its constant strawberry pink flowers. Perfect in a container or beside the patio. Tolerates more shade than your average strawberry! Will rarely produce fruit unless you plant 'Lipstick' (or another different cultivar) nearby then you will get lots of small, incredibly sweet strawberries.
Low-growing selection with 1" bubble-gum pink flowers from May to November; this selection seldom fruits. Red stems hold glossy, dark green, tri-foliate leaves. Full sun or part shade. Hardy to below 0 °F.
