Flowers are light yellow and have very twisted petals in February in our garden. All hamamelis listed by Gossler Farms in the Fall/Spring 2024/2025 catalog are hardy to at least -12° in their Springfield, Oregon garden, and all are grafted plants.
This large upright shrub helps to extend the wonderful Witch-hazel season just as long as is possible?its scented sulphur-yellow (like its fall color) flowers are perhaps the very latest to appear in mid-spring. S-PSh/M
This large shrub is erect at first, developing an open spreading shape as it matures, creating a handsome specimen. Flowers have narrow, yellow petals with a crinkled texture, which appear in late February. Fall foliage is a rich yellow.
