Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A dwarf bun or mound with small needles that are green with silvery-blue undersides. Also sold by the names 'Gunter' 'Gunther' 'Gnther' 'Hexenbesen' and 'Hexenbeson' which are incorrect.
Very dense, blue-green needles with silver undersides forming a tight mound. Our plants are grafted 8-inches high though with the wide head the trunk can barely be seen.
All of these little omorika brooms tend to look a like, consider this one generic.
DWARF. Selected as a witches' broom from Horstmann Nursery. Later named after Gunther Horstmann this will grow about 2" a year to a 2' by 2' plant with a mounding habit and nice blue-green foliage.
