Deciduous. This heavily weeping selection has lime green foliage in spring. Fall color is golden to yellow. Excellent waterfall form if staked, otherwise an equally interesting mound form.
Dramatic and unusual, this strongly weeping form of European Larch is breathtaking; with staking it becomes a small waterfall of soft-green needles or left to its own devices it will creep along becoming an unusual groundcover; in autumn it turns a glowing lemon-yellow. S/M
Puli' is a weeping variety of European Larch that can be grown either as a ground cover or an upright tree with pendulous branches if the main trunk is staked upright when young. Without being staked the tree will only grow a foot or so tall and will spread across the ground - this looks fantastic if you plant the tree on top of a rock wall or at the top of a tall rock pile. Like other weeping plants, 'Puli' will also look fantastic planted next to water features such as a pond or stream.

Larch are famous for the golden fall color as the needles prepare to drop off for the winter, an unusual trait in a conifer species. The needles on Larch trees are much softer than other conifers and make these trees much more rewarding to work with.

A great weeping broom, growth rate seems rather slow despite the fact that it produces moderately long annual growth, low grafted plants will eventually form a cascading mound.
