Ceanothus cuneatus [Adair Village, OR] is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with blue and green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. One of the most northerly collections of this silver-blue leaved, white-flowered California lilac, a chaparral component from Baja to western Oregon, this from dry, gravelly hills in the northern Willamette valley. Evergreen (silver!), to 4-5', forming rounded shrubs for places with summer drought and…..the Mediterranean look. Full sun with very good drainage. Should be frost hardy to 0 to 10 °F, USDA zone 7, or even colder.
