Clusters of lavender flowers attract butterflies. Thyme prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Trim after flowering to promote rebloom and maintain shape. Perfect for the herb or rock garden.

This is a variegated form of the traditional culinary thyme with a pure whtie margin around each leaf. The foliage takes on a burgundy cast in cool weather. Tiny, lavender pink blossoms are attractive to bees. This upright thyme is essentially a woody, low-growing shrub. It is evergreen and brings its wonderful scent to the ornamental or herb garden. It is also great in containers.
