TEMPLE BELLS - A rhizomatous perennial with scaly rhizomes from which rise tall branched stems with opposite pairs of hairy deep green large leaves up to 7". The leaves are mottled with darker green and brownish veins. Nodding tubular pendant bell-like flowers, red and yellow banded, yellow throats with red spots, summer to winter. Very exotic, needs warmth, humidity, cannot freeze.
