Each leaf or football has a translucent window or slit which allows light to enter for increased photosynthesis. Likes filtered sun to bright shade. Minimum temp. 50 degrees. Let dry between waterings. The fleshy leaves on this plant are much larger than string of bananas or string of pearls. It is able to survive under minimum moisture.
