Senecio herreanus is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In spring and summer white flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and occasional - low water. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.
The string of footballs is a mounding trailing succulent plant with fleshy oblong leaves that has pointed tips like footballs. Each leaf or football has a translucent window or slit which allows light to enter for increased photosynthesis. Likes filtered sun to bright shade. Minimum temp. 50 degrees. Let dry between waterings. The fleshy leaves on this plant are much larger than string of bananas or string of pearls. It is able to survive under minimum moisture.
