Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Pelegonium Crithmifolium, the Samphire Leafed Geranium has thick fleshy stems, contorted and twisted. This is the Granddaddy of all geraniums. Native of South Africa. Succulent like tight bunched leaves at branch tips emit a scent of ginger and nutmeg when crushed. Between May and October, clusters of white starry like flowers with pink stamens are born. A slow grower with its contorted habit makes this a great choice for bonsai. We grow and ship in 4"pots.
