Impatiens repens also known as the Golden Dragon Impatiens is considered rare. Impatiens repens which originated in is considered extinct in the wild. The plant looks more like a hanging vine and does not resemble the more common impatiens. The leaves are small and dark green, the stems are bright red. The flowers are large for the over all size of the plant and are a bright yellow. This is a great plants for hanging pots and terrariums. It could also be used as a ground cover in a more tropical setting.

Yellow Impatiens or Ceylon Jewelweed is a succulent having a sprawling creeping to trailing habit. Red stems with tiny leaves producing 1 1/2" bright yellow snapdragon like flowers in fall and spring. A ground cover in the south where minimum temps would be 50 or above. Needs filtered light and moist.
