Fleshy small clumps with greyish green stems branching near the base. The stems nearly erect 4 angled. This variety is distinguished from the species by the long tubular 5 lobed flowers with rough exteriors. Sharly winged angels on the 4 sided stems, heavily segmented 3-4" finger-like stems. Hardy zone 10-11b. Likes bright indirect light, keep on the dry side. Quite different.
