Gasteria carinata var. verrucosa is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green, variegated and white foliage. In winter orange and red flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. We believe this is correct. We also call it Warty Gasteria from all the white raised spots on the thick fleshy leaves. Hardy zone 10-12. Likes sun to part shade. Tall spikes of red orange flowers in winter.
