The leaves of this rare beauty emerge a deep coppery pink and mature to a bronzy green and are broadly to narrowly edged and splashed with cream. The leaf undersides are a solid rich dark orange-pink color and the plant is often at its best where both sides of the foliage can be fully enjoyed making the Chinese Croton an excellent choice for a colorful and easy hanging basket specimen or container specimen. An easy to grow and rewarding tropical container plant.
Where hardy the Chinese Croton makes a beautiful small shrub or can even be trained into a small tree form. Provide good to excellent drainage and average fertility for best results.
