Also known as Fairy Foxglove, Liver Balsam, Alpine Balsam, a great plant for rock gardens, troughs, etc. Producing pink violet flowers on wiry stems atop cushions of dwarf tufts. The dainty foliage is spoon shaped and grows 2-4" tall. Needs a gitty soil, well drained, sun to part shade. Flowering in May to June, hardy in Zone 4-10.
