Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fabulous mauve-est of the Asperas. Does the name give the color of this beautiful Aspera away? The fertile flowers and the sterile have a lovely shade of mauve to lavender. Stems and stalks are more slender than others in the Aspera family but don't let the slenderness fool you that it's any less sturdy. Stems begin reddish and age to a burgundy red by the fall. The dome shaped bloom stands high above the petite fuzzy leaves.
