This beautifully colored light orchid purple Penta produces exceptionally large flowers and flower clusters and as with all Pentas, this one flowers from spring to frost attracting loads of butterflies and other pollinators. This wonderful new introduction was selected by noted plantsman Dawn Stover of Stephen F. Austin University, Nacogdoches, Texas and is a 2012 release. Give it a rich fertile soil and periodic water during dry spells. The flowers of Pentas will attract butterflies and other nectar loving creatures to your gardens throughout summer. Where not hardy, heat and humidity tolerant Pentas make wonderful annuals for gardens or containers.
