Adenium 'Wonderful' is a semi-evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter pink and white flowers emerge. The wonderful profusion of flowers is only part of the prize as each pink petal of Wonderful is heavily splashed and flecked with bright fuchsia and fades into clear white before reaching the purple lined yellow throat. This Desert Rose is grafted with a 3.5-4" wide caudex. Desert Roses make easy and rewarding container plants. For best results grow them in a fast draining cactus-like soil and allow the soil to become moderately dry between waterings. Adeniums are heat and sun loving African desert tropicals that are closely related to Oleanders. Grow them out of doors once the danger of frosts are fully past or grow them indoors in a south, east, or west facing window that gets direct sun. They do go semi-dormant during the short days of winter and may drop much of their foliage but normally retain at least some leaves and flowering is best from late winter, spring, summer, and fall.
