Tall spikes of pure white tubular blooms emerge from white spikes on this vigorous and free flowering native perennial. The compact upright habit makes Sallyfun™ White Mealycup Sage perfect for the garden or containers where its white flowers will contrast with darker shades. Great for butterflies and pollinators. Mealycup Sage is a drought tolerant and free flowering perennial Salvia native to west Texas and New Mexico. It is quite tolerant of soil types but will need average or better drainage for the best results and performs wonderfully under average garden conditions. This tough little native will flower from spring to frost and revels in the heat and sun. Hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators are all attracted to the flowers of Mealycup Sage.
