Nursery contributed plant descriptions

1" golden yellow star-like flowers appear in spring and fall atop this low native perennial groundcover. Green and Gold prefers a moist acid soil and lightly shaded spot in the garden but will tolerate less than perfect conditions. Typically evergreen through winter but may go into semi-dormancy in summer. Green and Gold is more apt to tolerate sunnier locations in the more northerly portions of its hardiness range. Considered to be quite adaptable to soil types and to be tolerant of light foot traffic.
