Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Beautiful cream and green variegated foliage adorns this hardy evergreen shrub. With a finer texture, a denser branching habit, and more cold hardiness puts Chinese Pittosporum head and shoulders above its much more commonly grown cousin. Wonderfully fragrant flowers emit a heady perfume in mid spring. This durable shrub has excellent salt tolerance and moderate drought tolerance once well-established. Provide Chinese Pittosporum with a well-drained soil and moderate moisture for best results. We have to say thank you to Dr. David Creech of Stephen F Austin University for sharing this wonderful plant with us!
