Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A truly spectacular sterile Buddleia, the flowers on this cultivar are a rich deep dark-pink which becomes an even deeper red with heat of the south (a dark sangria red); a good choice for humid climates, this 4-5' beauty is perfect for the butterfly garden and is drought, heat, pest, disease and deer resistant. S/M-GDr PP23425
Buddleia 'Miss Molly' is the reddest of all butterfly bushes with glowing magenta flowers all summer long without deadheading. Their sweet fragrance will attract humans, butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Plants are medium sized growing up to five feet tall and wide and are sterile producing no seed. Grow in a large pot or in the mid or back of the border. Great for smaller gardens. Some drought tolerance.
Fragrant flowers are a fuchsia pink to red and bloom continuously from mid summer until frost. 'Miss Molly' has a compact size, making it a good choice for along a walk or as an accent shrub in a perennial bed. 'Miss Molly' is self cleaning, spent flowers only need an occasional trim.
Deep magenta fragrant flowers are born in elongating conical clusters on this wonderful new Butterfly Bush with a somewhat compact and refined growth habit. The 'red' coloration of this butterfly magnet is often most pronounced in southern climates. Item #9454. Butterfly Bushes are easily grown, free flowering butterfly magnets and are moderately drought tolerant once well established. Deadheading is not required but removing spent flowers will help the plant look 'cleaner'. Buddleias can grow to become large shrub-like perennials in mild climates but most grow as herbaceous perennials in zone 6 and colder. In some states and counties Buddleia's are considered invasive, please check with your local state offices before purchasing. Photo courtesy of Proven Winners - www.provenwinners.com
