Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A very unique Tropical Hibiscus which produces and abundance of 4-5" purple blooms that are edged in rosy-pink. The unusually colored flowers are subtended by medium sized dark green tropical foliage that is deeply serrated. A semi dwarf plant with a bushy habit. This Hibiscus came to us labeled as 'Corona del Mar' which it definitely is not. With it's gorgeous flowers and dwarf habit we thought that we should share this unknown beauty and so in honor of it's presumed name we chose 'Corona del Rey' which translates to crown or tiara and this seems befitting such a beautiful cultivar.
