Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Maroon leaves with white/light pink variegation. Maroon stem. Arrowhead-shaped, glossy leaves. Relatively slow growing. Variegation can vary but for best result we recommend growing plants with at least 3 hours of direct morning sun or under grow light for at least 12 hours.
Plants with black leaves are rare in nature. That's why Philodendron 'Pink Princess' is so unique. It's a rare black-leaf philodendron with hot pink variegation. The young leaves emerge as a dark olive-green with white variegation, maturing to a deep black with bright pink spots. The variegation is highly visible. Provide good light for maximum coloration. Grow in bright indirect light indoors or a shady location outdoors. This philodendron prefers moist but well-drained soil and some humidity. As a vining plant, it should be grown on a stake or trellis.
Philodendron Pink Princess is a climbing aroid with dark leaves and light pink variegated blotches. Leaves can grow to 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. The stems are also blotched with pink. I find that the variegation can be greater if the plant is cut or prevented from reverting to just dark leaves. Solid pink leaves is a goal to many who grow this plant. It is not commonly seen on all plants they must be mature enough and be cut back to allow the variegation to stay strong to show this.
The black to deep burgundy, glossy, heart-shaped tropical foliage is splashed and flecked with white and pink. An easily grown indoor or tropical plant that is sure to make a statement. This is a slow growing vine-like philodendron which can be trained to a support or allowed to trail.
