Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fast growing with beautiful glossy green leaves, this dutchman's pipe has distinctly pipe-like flowers throughout the season. Tropical and frost tender, but easily kept indoors through winter if cut back.
Beautiful and unusual! Deep burgundy-green, curving, tubular, dutchman's pipe-shaped blooms with deep burgundy caps that overhang the open throat of these unique, carnivorous looking flowers. Each cap has its own 10-14" purple twisting streamer dangling from its tip. The three-lobed glossy, olive green foliage adorns this medium sized tropical perennial twining vine.
