Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large clusters of fully double, pink flowers are borne atop a rounded, semi-dwarf bush. A very durable and disease resistant old rose. Selected as an Earthkind Rose by Texas A&M! Now considered to actually be Pink Pet as per Texas A&M. This rose was apparently lost to horticulture until the 1980's when Dr. Bill Welch found it and reintroduced it as Caldwell Pink for lack of a proper name at that time. As Shakespeare would say a rose by any other name smells as sweet. Whatever you choose to call this rose it is certainly worth a spot in any garden with its excellent disease resistance, reliability and a nice, naturally rounded habit.
