Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An Almost Eden exclusive! Soft lavender-pink rounded blooms are borne in loose clusters in late spring and summer. The rich dark green narrow foliage of this Prairie Phlox is considered by experts to be the only Phlox species that is immune to powdery mildew. Bonnie's Pink Prairie Phlox makes a vigorous evergreen perennial groundcover and is quite tolerant of deciduous shade as well as full sun. The butterflies can't seem to leave it alone when its in flower. Our selection may be the same as Phlox pilosa ssp. ozarkana.
