Most rain lilies are either pink or white - these are a bright sunny yellow and just as easy to grow as the other varieties. Come late August and early September these lemon beauties usher in autumn's colors sweetly.

A dwarf with scapes only reaching 13cm and bearing bright yellow 2" flowers.
The golden, crocus-like blooms of this tough little pixie can open throughout the summer, especially in well-watered gardens, but its glory days come in early fall. It takes poor, droughty, and even boggy soils, and when happy _ even in a pot _ it self-sows eagerly. Native to the Yucatan, it's recommended in American garden books by the 1930s at least. Grassy foliage, aka Z. sulphurea
This is an Amaryllis relative native to the Americas. Great outdoors in the south, excellent for indoor pots and plants. Tolerates any soil type. EASY to grow. Blooms several times each summer, after heavy rains (hence their common name "Rain Lily"). Hardy in zones 7-11, elsewhere dig and store for the winter. This variety of rain lilies are usually much more expensive! These bulbs are naturally smaller than a dime. Most will bloom and set seeds the first year.
Deep primrose yellow 2" wide starry cupped flowers are borne in profusion atop the dark green soft rush-like foliage after a summer rain. Rainlilies are easily grown bulbous perennials that multiply readily and are an excellent choice for low maintenance gardens. Item # 3045.
