'Hawaii' is a very free flowering Oleander and produces exceptionally large rich pink flowers with a yellow eye. An intermediate growing Oleander, Hawaii easily grows to 6' and may reach 10-12' high in mild climates. The Hawaii Oleander is widely planted at Disney World. It is not as cold hardy as many varieties but is certainly suited to zones 9 and warmer as well as making a good choice for large containers.Oleanders are extremely durable and reliable evergreen shrubs for mild winter climates and are especially well adapted to the mild coastal regions of the US. Salt tolerant, drought resistant, deer resistant, and adaptable to a variety of soil types although they do appreciate good drainage and seem to prefer a mineral soil over humus based soils.
